We Are Not Far From the Kingdom

“LEXINGTON, Va. (WCMH) – A West Virginia man is facing charges after he allegedly threw chicken poop at the restaurant that denied service to White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders.” Click Here for Rest of the Story. If you think our world deserves better than all this kind of stuff, then you are not far from that ideal world. We know the world needs to act as one and to be harmonized, but throwing chicken poop at each other isn’t achieving that! We should love our society with all our heart and understanding, but throwing chicken poop at fellow citizens says what about our heartfelt understanding?   What kind of weekend would it be if we thought it would be fun to spend a night out with neighbors throwing chicken poop at each other? We live in a world that talks of tolerance, boasts of eliminating bigotry, and accepting people just as they are….but the opposite keeps flaring up!

We are not far from the Kingdom when we desire global unity, tolerance, understanding, and love. Unfortunately, the world is more of a disaster than ever before. Chicken poop is being flung everywhere. This comes from the nature of sin, and using the nature of sin to avenge the sinful nature just leads to more human catastrophes. If we don’t participate in the poop flinging, then we are ostracized, not “liked,” and even bullied. To put that in other words, the Hand of God is setting us apart from the world. The purity of your desire is sanctifying you from the poop throwing of the world, that purity of your desire is the Holy Spirit. You are not far from the Kingdom of God. Eventually, you will come to realize that what Christ did on the Cross is to bring remission to the poop throwing. Your sin nature will abate to give life in the Spirit where you have fellowship with God. In the presence of God you will enter into the Kingdom.

May the Spirit of God’s love and passion for the salvation of souls be richly in us through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

“And the scribe said to him, Well, Master, you have said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And when Jesus saw that he answered discreetly, he said unto him, You art not far from the kingdom of God.”
