Walls Of Salvation And Gates Of Righteousness

"We have a strong city; Salvation will God appoint for walls and bulwarks." Global border security issues center around crime, human trafficking, drug trafficking, rape, murder, and overall disruption. The solution proposed to us is to "Build the Wall." Well, anyone of us who do not use drugs, are law abiding, and respectful of life is the wall. Those who experience Salvation from those terrible, abusive, and chaotic behaviors are of a strong character, appointed as walls against depravity, and we are the defense of the nation. "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." Luke 16:26 "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an Holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;" 1 Peter 2:9
God's plan of redemption is to establish the wall between the chaotic ways of this world and the peace given to us from the Kingdom of God. Salvation comes through Jesus Christ who gave His life on the Cross for the remission of sin. That remission of sin is the wall between the Kingdom of Heaven and Hell. Jesus Christ makes our inner depravity dormant and inactive to where it has no dominion over what we do or say. With sin in remission, the fruit of the Holy Spirit fills our soul and fellowships with our spirit to appoint us as a wall and bulwark against killing, stealing, and destroying. "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17
Where there are walls there are gates! Isaiah says, "Open ye the gates, that the righteous nation which keeps the truth may enter in." I believe the goal of any country is for peace, order, harmony, and productiveness from one person to the next, and from one city to the next. No one willingly opens their door to thieves, murderers, deceivers, and those intending to be destructive. The idea is to open our door to good things that enhances our quality of life. Even with that said, under the reign of the anti-Christ, the gate into the presence of the Holy Spirit is shut. The anti-Christ closes the gate leading to the Cross of Jesus Christ, and the anti-Christ shuts the gate encouraging faith in God. Satan is the source of the demonic activity happening at the border! Open borders requires what Jesus Christ offers at the Cross; "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture." John 10:9
