The Earth Is Defiled Because They Transgress The Laws

The Living God placed humanity over the affairs of the planet to care for it. In addition, He even gave us His Son Jesus Christ to restore our spirit and soul to a condition that would enable us to make Godly decisions over all the earth. From the fall of Adam and Eve, humanity consistently rejects the notion of One True God, makes themselves to be god themselves, and insist on knowing the difference between good and evil. But, it keeps becoming apparent that decisions to reject the Message of the Cross of Christ and opposing the presence of the Holy Spirit leads to turmoil and chaos on the earth. Wickedness increases during a decline of making Godly decisions. The evil of today is compared to the demonic mobs chanting in the ears of Caesar, "Crucify Him, Crucify Him!" speaking of their desire to crucify the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross. Instead, they chanted to release Barabbas, a thief and murderer. This is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil. This explains a lot of what Isaiah is talking about in today's scripture text.

"The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left."

During the chants of, "Crucify Him, Crucify Him," it was also said, "We have no king but Caesar!" Today, many are declaring their desire to rid the world of Christ Jesus in preference for another king. Their king is the modern god of knowledge! Following the god of knowledge that cleaves to the flesh is to follow a pattern that shuts down the soul and spirit. Thoughts and actions are manipulated in such a way that punishes allegiance to the Spirit of Christ and rewards allegiance to the spirit of the anti-Christ. This is obvious because those following that god of knowledge are not able to offer any information on the One True God, what Christ Jesus did for us on the Cross, and have no insights through the Holy Spirit.

Shutting God out of our world leads to the destruction mentioned in the above scripture text, which is the destruction described in the Book of Revelation. We need the Living God, we need to come to the Cross of Jesus Christ, and we need the infilling of the Holy Spirit. It is only through the soul and spirit that we have a connection to the Spirit of God, which is the Spirit of Redemption. That Redemption comes by accepting what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross. While demonic wickedness will become like a flood on this earth, we who believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, will live in the New Heaven and New Earth.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil."      John 3:16-19 KJV
