Whatever the Holy Spirit is slaying, it is to enable God’s plan of redemption for humanity, through His Son Jesus Christ. However a person defines Leviathan or the dragon, those two entities are demonic and of Satan. They are an obstacle or barrier to people trying to live a life in the Spirit of Christ Jesus. When God slays those entities, then people are free to experience God’s love, peace, joy, goodness, and faithfulness. When God slays the dragon, we are free to express our faith in God, to talk about what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross, and to live life in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

We live in a world today where there is a crooked and piercing serpent that is making war against faith in God. The modern god of knowledge cleaves to the flesh to manipulate thought and feelings. That manipulation makes war against the soul and spirit. It is only through the soul and spirit that we are in contact with God. From the god of knowledge, there is never any information to reveal to us the possibility of the remission of sin and living in the Holiness of Christ’s Spirit. There is something more powerful than the piercing serpent, and that is the piercing Word of God. “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

“In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.” Isaiah 27:1

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”  Romans 10:10  Let’s believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Jesus Christ is lord.
