God Will Destroy The Covering Cast Over The People
“And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces…” This prophecy of Isaiah was fulfilled the very same hour that Jesus Christ said the words, “It is finished,” as he gave up the Ghost on the Cross. Here is a direct quote explaining it all, “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split. The tombs were opened, and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the tombs after His resurrection they entered the Holy City and appeared to many.” Matthew 27:50-53 And this is exactly what is going to happen when Jesus Christ comes for us! We will be resurrected to eternal life in the Holy City because we accept what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross for the forgiveness of sin and reconciliation to God.
Lee refers to the sheltered side of something, and God promises a “feast of wines on the lees .” Psalms 91:4 says it very well, “He shall cover you with his feathers, and under His wings will you trust: His truth will be your shield and buckler.” This is all good news that one day we will safely have fellowship with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. Today, we have the fellowship of the Holy Spirit within our heart, but a day is coming when we will be resurrected in our glorified body and live safely in the shelter of His arms in the New Heaven and New Earth. The tribulation in this world will pass, it will pass! Then, we will have eternal shelter in the New Jerusalem. “And in this mountain will the Lord of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.” Isaiah 25:6
“the rebuke of His people will He take away from off all the earth: for the Lord has spoken it.” Of course, this speaks of Israel, but as Israel goes so goes the followers of Jesus Christ. Satan attacks Israel because from the womb of Israel came the birth of Jesus Christ. Satan attacks the followers of Jesus Christ because they accept God’s Son over the lies of the anti-Christ. As the spirit of the anti-Christ intensifies in this world, the followers of Jesus Christ, along with the nation of Israel, are experiencing rebuke from the New World Order, the forerunner of the system of the anti-Christ. But, God plans to take that rebuke from off the face of the earth. One day, we will reign with Jesus Christ, with the 12 Jewish Apostles being the foundations of the Holy City, and the 12 Jewish Tribes being the Gates leading into the Holy City.
