God’s Fury Comes By Spiritual Means
“Has he smitten Him, as He smote those that smote Him? or is He slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by Him? “Boxing the wind” is a term used to say that what we are doing is unproductive. This is when someone throws punches into the air, like shadow-boxing. God is Spirit, so there is really no way that the created fleshly human can prevail against the Spirit of the Creator. When Jesus Christ was crucified on the Cross, His accusers thought that they had won the victory. In reality, the Spirit of God raised Him from the dead and over 2000 years later He still lives. But, look at how the Romans, Jews, Pharisees, Sadducees, and Scribes have been smitten! The Romans no longer exist like they did during the Roman Empire, and the power of the Jewish Nation has dwindled and suffered greatly through the ages. Likewise, the modern god of knowledge, the system of the anti-Christ, cannot prevail over the Spirit of God through globalization. Jesus Christ will return to establish the New Heaven and New Earth. The smitten Lamb of God has defeated the world by reconciling us to God. “The next day John sees Jesus coming unto him, and says, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29
“In measure, when it shoots forth, thou will debate with it: He stays his rough wind in the day of the east wind. By this therefore will the iniquity of Jacob be purged;” Rough weather is here today for those of us who maintain our faith in God, who live according to what Jesus Christ has done for us on the Cross, and we who welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit. But, as we remain strong, our spirit and soul will be purified and draw nearer to God. Even in the Great Tribulation this is true. Be of good cheer: it is Jesus Christ ; be not afraid. “And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and He alone on the land. And He saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night He cometh unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them. But when they saw Him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out: For they all saw Him, and were troubled. And immediately He talked with them, and says unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid. And He went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered” Mark 6:47-51
“and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when He makes all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.” The major “stones of altar” today is the modern god of knowledge, a component of the anti-Christ, and related to computer chip technology. In the days when Jesus Christ returns, the elements of the earth will melt down in fervent heat. The system of the anti-Christ will be like chalkstones and will not stand in the face of the natural disasters and tremendous global heat. Even today, as we abide in Jesus Christ, who is the Water of Life and Milk and Honey, we will be with Him when Satan, the anti-Christ, and all demonic activity is cast into the Lake of Fire. “And whosoever will fall on this Stone (Jesus Christ)will be broken: but on whomsoever it will fall, it will grind him to powder.”

Victory is never won by using our fleshly abilities against the Spirit of God. Victory is won when we are born again in our spirit to have fellowship with the Spirit of God through Jesus Christ. “Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:5-6
